Yet another internet phenomenon that I missed out on during its prime. But I’m so, so thankful I still came across it. We all enjoy webcomics and video clips and other fun stuff referencing or re-imagining classic video games, but this… this is masterful. If you have ever even touched a Smash Bros game, or even if you just know what the series is about and have played Nintendo’s first-party games, you MUST watch this. It’s worth it. They’re making a DVD edit. I can’t wait.

Also, I have a thing for Samus now. You’ll see what I mean.

It’s a film noire style vision of the Brawl universe. Character alignments are shifted and everyone’s darker and grittier. They clearly put a ton of time into this, and it really paid off. Okay, stop reading and go watch. You’ll be glad you did.
